FACETS 2024, the premier international gem and jewellery show in Sri Lanka, is a collaborative effort of the Sri Lanka Gem & Jewellery Association and the Sri Lanka Export Development Board. These organizations come together to showcase the rich heritage and modern advancements in Sri Lanka’s gem and jewellery sector. The event, slated for 6th to 8th January 2024 at the Cinnamon Grand Colombo, promises to be grand, reflecting the country’s long-standing tradition in gemstone mining and jewellery craftsmanship.

In its 30th edition, the show continues the tradition of presenting Sri Lanka’s unique and magnificent coloured gems and precious stones. This edition will take attendees on a historical journey, tracing the evolution of the island’s gem and jewellery culture from the age of kings to modern times. It highlights Sri Lanka’s global recognition as a top source of precious gemstones and its commitment to sustainable and ethical practices in the gem industry​.
